Travel Website Owners:How do I submit a site for inclusion in Travel Websites Directory?All the information you need to submit a site to Travel Websites Directory is available via the 'Submit A Site' link on the top navigation bar. You firstly need to decide on the package that you want (the package summary will help you make this decision) then fill in the online forms, make your payment if required, and submit your form to us. What happens then and how long will it take for the site to be approved? After we receive your submission we check it thoroughly and view your website to ensure it is appropriate and of sufficient quality to appear in our directory. If it is accepted we will let you know when it is has been approved and if we decline your submission we will let you know also. If you have paid for a package and your site isn't accepted we will refund you accordingly. The time taken to approve submissions depends on how many approvals we have to deal with at the given time. We always give priority approval to those websites who have taken the higher level packages. All paid-for packages last for one year. As the renewal date approaches we will email you and invite you to renew your package. If you do not renew, your listing will be removed from the directory. What options do I have to get a more prominent listing? There are four packages for you to choose from. Bronze offers you a basic listing. If your choose a Silver package your listing will stand out on the results page as it will be boxed, will be larger than a standard listing and will also enable you to show your company's logo. It will also appear (on a rotation basis) in the 'Featured Listings' section at the top of page one of the categories and sub-categories in which your listing appears. Gold packages also see their listing rotated in turn into the 'Featured Listings' section at the top of page one of the All Travel Websites (A-Z) section and Platinum listings also have a full profile page to promote their company/website more prominently. How do I upgrade from one package to another? If you want to upgrade you simply buy the package that you would like to move up to. You are paying for us to check your new submission and you then get a year's package from the date you upgrade. Unfortunately, we cannot offer rebates for time remaining on any paid packages prior to the upgrade. We therefore recommend that you try and decide which paid package is the most appropriate for the next twelve months, before purchasing a package. How do I get my listing boxed and coloured? By purchasing a Silver, Gold or Platinum package. How do I get my listing in the Featured Listings section on the results pages? By purchasing a Silver, Gold or Platinum package. How do I get one of the profile pages? By purchasing a Platinum package. How do I update my listing's details? When you submit a site and it is approved, you will be allocated an account. All packages can login to their account and amend their company contact details at any time. Certain listing details can also be amended via the account, other amendments need to be submitted via the form on the contact page. Please note that we will only accept amendments via the contact page where the information in your listing is factually incorrect (e.g. your company name changes and/or website URL changes and/or you stop selling products mentioned in your description). Silver, Gold and Platinum packages can amend elements of their listing (logo), contact details on the profile page (platinum only) at any time by logging into their account. Changes to the listing title, description and URL, plus the categories/sub-categories that the listing appears within, need to be submitted via the form on the contact page. How do I get my special offers featured in your Travel Offers section? At this time we source our offers from 3rd parties, such as affiliate networks, and cannot accept them direct. How can I advertise on Travel Websites Directory? You can promote your site by taking out a Silver, Gold or Platinum package. At this time we source the advertising that appears throughout the site from 3rd parties, such as online advertising networks and affiliate networks, and cannot accept them direct. We cannot recommend a particular network as we deal with a number of them and your individual advertising needs may be better served by one network than another. Our 'Sponsored Results' are supplied by Google. Users:How do I set up a user account?You can take out a free membership to Travel Websites Directory by clicking on the Sign-In link and then the register link that appears on the page. What details does Travel Websites Directory hold on me? We only hold information that you supply to us and we store it in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We will not divulge it to third parties without your permission or unless required to do so by law. We hold data for the purpose of providing you with the user facilities that come with your account and to understand our users better, so that we may improve the quality of our website. How do I use the search facility on Travel Websites Directory? Our user friendly directory navigation structure will hopefully enable you to find relevant travel websites. We also offer a search tool which enables you to search for listings based on keywords you enter into the search box. There is a 'Search Tips' box on the internal search results page, which will help you refine your search if necessary. We also offer an external search tool which works in much the same way as the leading search engines. You use this in the same way as the internal search tool, by inputting keywords into the search box. How often will I receive your newsletter? We know that people's inboxes are overflowing these days and we do not want to add to this unnecessarily. Therefore we will only send you a newsletter if you opt to receive it and will do so a maximum of once a month. You can opt-out of receiving it at any time. We may send you other emails to update you on anything relevant to your account or the features and facilities available on our website. However these will only be when necessary, we will try and do this in the newsletter whenever possible. We may also send you emails informing you about other Really Useful Website product launches.
