E111 Websites

The government has replaced the old E111 forms with European Health Insurance Cards (EHIC), which entitle you to government provided medical care in most European countries.

Whilst this is no substitute for adequate travel insurance, this card is worth having.

Some unscrupulous websites have popped up which offer to 'process' your application in return for a fee.

There is no need for you to do this, you can get your EHIC for free via forms available at many post offices, or you can apply online at www.dh.gov.uk.
